About SprintDeck

SprintDeck is two small tools for agile teams: planning poker for estimating work together, and a random picker wheel for the small decisions nobody wants to argue about. Both are free and neither asks you to sign up.

Why it is free

It was built to scratch a real itch on a real scrum team, and it costs almost nothing to run. There are no ads, because an advert in the middle of a live estimation session is a good way to make a team stop using a tool. It is free because it is a calling card for JADEV, which does software engineering and delivery consulting. If the tools are useful, that is the whole return.

What happens to your data

Rooms are temporary. Votes and story titles live in the session while it is open and disappear when it ends. There are no accounts, so there is nothing to delete and nothing to leak. The picker wheel runs entirely on your device; its list is kept in your browser so it is still there next time, and a wheel you share carries its names inside the link rather than on a server.

The one exception is basic traffic measurement. We use Google Analytics to count visits, with advertising and analytics storage switched off, so it runs without the cookies that would otherwise follow you around. It tells us how many people use the tools and nothing about who they are. No names, room codes, or story links are ever sent to it.

Using it inside Azure DevOps

A companion Azure DevOps extension puts the same planning poker directly on the work item form, with no backend and nothing leaving your organisation. It is in private testing and not yet published to the Marketplace.
