- What is a live poll for?
- Settling a question in a meeting without a show of hands. Ask it once, everyone answers on their own device, and the result is on screen in seconds rather than in somebody's notes.
- Is the anonymous mode really anonymous?
- Yes. When a poll is anonymous the server never sends anyone the mapping from person to answer, including the person who created the poll. Only the totals go out. There is no setting that turns that off, and the choice is locked once the first vote lands so nobody can change the terms people answered under.
- Can people pick more than one option?
- Yes. Switch the poll to several picks, and optionally cap how many each person may take. When a cap is reached the extra pick is refused rather than quietly replacing an earlier one.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Create a poll, share the room code, and everyone joins with a display name. Nothing is stored beyond the live room.
- Can I get the results out?
- Yes. Copy them as Markdown for a chat message or a ticket, or as CSV for a spreadsheet. An anonymous poll exports the numbers only.
